Cash For Clunkers Ends August 24th!
U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced Thursday that after a wildly successful run, the Cash For Clunkers program will come to a close on Monday, August 24th at 8:00pm.
Arlington Toyota in Jacksonville, FL has handled more than 150 Clunker transactions. “Toyota has always been known for their fuel-efficiency and reliability, so it’s been a perfect choice for customers looking to trade in their existing vehicle,” said Rick Doran General Manager of Arlington Toyota.
Toyota also has many great incentives that customers can take advantage of in addition to the Cash For Clunkers like 0% financing for up to 60 months on all brand new 2010 Camrys. Arlington Toyota has more than 60 Camrys to choose from
“This program has been a lifeline to the automobile industry, jump starting a major sector of the economy and putting people back to work,” Secretary LaHood said. “At the same time, we’ve been able to take old, polluting cars off the road and helpp consumers purchase fuel-efficient vehicles.”
